Now, my picks: Well, I actually loved that Atonement won Best Picture, haven't seen it yet, but I read the book and loved it, plus I love Keira Knightley and Joe Wright is one of my favourite directors. That's why I was disappointed when he didn't win Best Director, I also would have agreed if Tim Burton or Ridley Scott won. Then again, for Best Actor my call was either James McAvoy, Viggo Mortensen or George Clooney. Obviously my pick for Best Actress was Keira, I never would have thought of Julie Christie, but maybe Cate Blanchett or Angelina Jolie, maybe even Jodie Foster, for God's Sake! My least favourite won! For Best Comedy I'm absolutely happy that Sweeney Todd won, and of course, that Johnny won for Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical. I love him!!!!! ahahaa. Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical, I never would have thought that my pick, Marion Cotillard, would win! I'm thrilled, I've seen La Vie En Rose, and apart from being one of the best films from 2007, it has the best performance, it was like I was watching Edith Piaf herself, omg, you can't even begin to imagine how much I cried with that movie. That's why I'm kind of disappointed that that was the only nomination the movie got. For Best Supporting Actor, I would have prefered Philip Seymour Hoffman. For Best Supporting Actress, it was a more diffucult call. I mean, my fave, of course, was Cate Blanchett, but I also liked Julia Roberts and Saoirse Ronan, I think that girl really deserved it. In the rest of the categories I don't have much of an opinion, only that I liked that David Duchovny won, I would have liked House or The Tudors and either Hugh Laurie or Jonathan Rhys Meyers for Best Actor.
